Your Study System: Recall, SRS & Notebook

Build a sustainable study loop using retrieval, handwriting, contextual reading, and selective spaced repetition instead of trying to memorize everything at once.

Why this matters

A strong course can still fail if the learner only rereads explanations. Japanese requires repeated retrieval over time. Developers already understand iterative systems: observe a failure, isolate it, practice the weak component, retest, and ship only when it works.

1. Treat learning like an engineering feedback loop

Reading an answer and thinking 'that makes sense' is not the same as retrieving it later. Your study loop should alternate input and output: learn a small concept, close the reference, retrieve it, inspect the error, then retry after time has passed.
