Excess is common: too many meetings, work too much, too difficult, too expensive, too complex.

1. Verb stem + すぎる means do too much

働きます→働きすぎる; 話します→話しすぎる.

I work too much. 働きすぎます。 はたらきすぎます。

Natural: I work too much.
