～すぎる: Too Much + Track 4 Capstone
Use ～すぎる with verb stems and adjective bases to express excess, then integrate the entire Track 4.
- Track 4 lessons 4-1 through 4-7 and adjective classes.
Excess is common: too many meetings, work too much, too difficult, too expensive, too complex.
1. Verb stem + すぎる means do too much
働きます→働きすぎる; 話します→話しすぎる.
Natural: I work too much.
Structure: work-stem — exceed
Excessive action.
Natural: I talked too much in the meeting.
Structure: meeting at — talk-too-much past
Past excess.
2. Adjectives attach with class-specific bases
い-adjective drops final い; な-adjective uses the bare stem.
Natural: This problem is too difficult.
Structure: problem topic — difficult-too-much
い-adjective.
Natural: This configuration is too complex.
Structure: configuration topic — complex-too-much
な-adjective.
Natural: This computer is too expensive.
Structure: computer topic — expensive-too-much
