Comparison is essential for evaluating tools, approaches, environments, schedules, and everyday preferences.
1. より marks the comparison baseline; ほう marks the side judged more strongly
AよりBのほうが速い = B is faster than A.
速い
2. Compare technical and everyday choices
[{'label': 'B is faster than A.', 'sample': 'AよりBのほうが速いです。' A car is more convenient than the train.', 'sample': '電車より車のほうが便利です。' , 'natural': {'en': 'A car is more convenient than the train.', 'es': 'Consulta el significado natural en español.'}, 'literal': {'en': 'train than — car side — convenient', 'es': 'Observa la estructura literal japonesa y el orden de sus componentes.'}, 'note': {'en': 'Everyday comparison.', 'es': 'Observa la forma anterior al patrón y la relación que establece entre las ideas.'}}, {'label': 'This approach is easier.', 'sample': 'この方法のほうが簡単です。' , 'natural': {'en': 'This approach is easier.', 'es': 'Consulta el significado natural en español.'}, 'literal': {'en': 'this method side — easy', 'es': 'Observa la estructura literal japonesa y el orden de sus componentes.'}, 'note': {'en': 'Comparison target may be understood from context.', 'es': 'Observa la forma anterior al patrón y la relación que establece entre las ideas.'}}]
