Use plain non-past verb + つもりです to express an intention or plan.

30 min
Before you begin
  • Plain non-past affirmative/negative.
Why this matters

This supports planning language: I intend to test tomorrow, I plan not to change production, I intend to study tonight.

1. Plain verb + つもりです expresses intention

Use Vるつもり for intend to do; Vないつもり for intend not to do.

Decision → intended future action
